Server-verified payments
Every payment event is cryptographically verified against Stripe's signature before a booking is marked paid. Forged or replayed events are rejected — this is tested, not assumed.
Your money goes to you
Payments flow to your school's own Stripe account via Stripe Connect — the same infrastructure Kickstarter and Shopify run on. AYON's fee is taken transparently per transaction; the rest is yours on Stripe's normal payout schedule.

What does AYON Ocean OS cost?
5% per confirmed online booking, and that's the whole model to get started: no setup fee, no onboarding fee, no annual contract, no monthly minimum. If you take no bookings, you pay nothing. Standard Stripe card-processing fees apply to transactions, as they do on every platform.
How is that different from FareHarbor or Peek Pro?
FareHarbor and Peek quote around 6% per booking — and that fee is typically added on top of your price at checkout, where your customer sees it as a surcharge. Ocean OS charges the school 5%, and you decide your pricing. There's also no distribution-network arrangement taking 20%+ of resold bookings.
How is it different from Bookinglayer or Viking Bookings?
Those are capable systems priced for camps and large centers — Bookinglayer starts around €260/month and Viking Bookings runs about €4,500/year billed up front, plus a setup fee. Ocean OS has no fixed cost at all: a school doing 10 lessons a month and a school doing 300 both pay only for what they actually book.
Do my students need to create an account or install an app?
No. The hosted booking page takes a student from lesson selection to paid confirmation in one flow — name, email, phone, card. That's it.
How do I put it on my website?
Link any button to your school's booking page (yourschool → book-now link). It works from Squarespace, WordPress, Wix, a custom site — anything that can link. Surfiscool Surf School in Huntington Beach runs exactly this from their own website today.
Is it only for kite schools?
No. Ocean OS runs surf schools, kite schools, wing and windsurf schools, and multi-sport centers. It grew out of kiteschool.app — the kitesurfing marketplace — and the platform underneath was built sport-neutral from the start.
How do payouts work?
You connect a Stripe account once (guided, about 10 minutes, requires your business details and bank account). From then on, every verified booking's payment lands in your Stripe balance and pays out to your bank on Stripe's standard schedule — typically 2 business days.
