It's a small, punchy, quick wave that rewards knowing the tide and the rock bottom, not a beginner beach break.Read

Wave spotPraia do FuturoPraia do Futuro is Fortaleza's long, open beach — several kilometers of sand-bottom beach break south of Titanzinho, backed by the city's beach-club scene. It's the more forgiving, more crowded, more social wave of the two: multiple shifting peaks instead of one defined point.Read

Wave spotIcaraí de AmontadaIcaraí de Amontada is a small fishing-village-turned-kite-town two hours west of Fortaleza, with a sand-bottom beach break out front and a tidal lagoon behind it.
